Varun Marneni

Executive vice president, CPC Advisors

Varun Marneni moved to Orlando, Florida, from India with his family at age 13 and has been moving up the ranks ever since.

Right out of college, he joined Raymond James as a recruiter, giving him a bird’s-eye view of the culture of the profession.

“Recruiting gave me great insight into various aspects of our wealth management industry at an early age,” Marneni said. “This exposure underscored the importance of a firm that provides well-thought-out, comprehensive planning for each client’s unique needs.”

In 2014, he joined CPC Advisors in Atlanta and earned his CFP designation. Only five years later, at the age of 30, Marneni was the youngest person to become an owner and shareholder at CPC; now, at 33, he serves on the investment and executive committees for the firm.

Fast-forward to today and Marneni has established himself as an experienced wealth advisor, well-versed in investment management, tax efficiency, estate planning and risk minimization strategies.

“Having such a positive impact on people’s lives is the most fulfilling aspect of my job,” he said. “It’s not about the numbers, it’s about the people, the families, the succession plans, and the generations to come. I can’t imagine ever doing anything else with my life.”
